Australia took their Army, Navy and pilots to help out the United Nations. The navy boats HMAS-Bataan & HMAS Shoalhaven escorted the U.S boat to Pusan. Australia Wing Commander Lou Spence Flew ground Support making the first move in Korea. Many Australian troops fought in the attacks against China when they tried to make a push 52 Men killed in that effort. Australia also wanted to help because they didn’t like the system Communist and was afraid if they didn’t help stop it there could be a chance Australia could get that system. They also feared if they didn’t help out and North Korea won they could attack Australia next. They were part of a few Important battles such as Battle Of Kapyong, they held out the site while helping South Korea Move forward they were under heavy Attack, 32 men killed while 53 wounded. They sent many Navy boats to fight.
